Terms of Use

These terms cover the use of labengkisombori.com and the enquiries made through it. They are written to be read rather than to be survived, and they are deliberately short: this site takes enquiries, it does not take payments, so most of what fills a booking-terms page does not apply here yet.

Who we are

Enquiring is not booking

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Sending an enquiry, by the form, by WhatsApp or by email, does not reserve a place, a boat or a date, and no trip is confirmed until we have written back to you and confirmed it in writing.

There is no checkout on this site and there is no payment page. If you ever find one, it is not ours.

Prices

Prices are shown per person and change with group size, which is why the figure moves when you change the number of travellers. They are held in Indonesian rupiah and converted for display using exchange rates that update periodically, so the amount you see in your own currency is indicative and the rupiah figure is the real one.

A price on this site is not a quotation. We confirm the price for your dates and your group when we reply to your enquiry, and that reply is what binds us.

What the information here is worth

We write these pages from our own sailing record and from the operators we work with, and where we are not certain of something we say so rather than filling the gap. Sea conditions, tides, weather and the state of a road or a jetty all change, and an itinerary on this site describes what a trip normally does rather than guaranteeing what yours will do. The crew changes the order of a day, or drops a stop, when the water says to.

Photographs

The photographs on this site are ours, taken on our own trips. Please do not republish them without asking first.

The contact page has the fastest routes to us, and anything on this page that is unclear is worth an email rather than an assumption.
